Woodlark Apartments

Woodlark Properties owns the historic apartment buildings of Madison Barracks. The company sets and maintains high standards for its entire portfolio of 5,200 residential apartment units across 13 states. Madison Barracks apartments are incorporated in 17 historically significant buildings, all of which are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. 122 apartment units make up the Woodlark Properties Sackets Harbor holdings and the units range in size and in floor plan layout.

These 17 buildings make up a large portion of the Barracks military and historic legacy. As an example today we have three studio units that over 165 years ago combined were the quarters of a fresh graduate of West Point, a young Lieutenant named Ulysses S Grant. Famous World War II general Mark Clark was born in a unit that is now a one bedroom unit in the west wing of Old Stone Row. The “Little Flower” Fiorello LaGuardia former New York City mayor played as a small child on what we now call the polo Field as his father was the Band Master of the base.

Madison Barracks inventory of apartment units include studio, one, two and three bedroom units. The sizes of the apartments range from 500 square feet to 2,200 square feet. Units are available furnished for extended stay convenience or unfurnished units on an annual basis. The property is pet friendly and has 40 plus acres of open grounds, 1.5 miles of private roads, and a spectacular shoreline of Lake Ontario.
